Report a translation problem
Ici[www.irontowerstudio.com] tu peux voir des informations et instructions pour commencer. Faire une traduction à partir de zéro est une entreprise très difficile.
the game is so exciting that it would interest a lot of French I think
Since the game is still in development and the dialogues are being revised and expanded, I think it's too early to expect anything yet.
We don't know the exact wordcount yet, but I assume it will be around 600,000 words, same as our first game.
I understand, but it is damn so sad ! How can we, french people, work on a translation ?
Serioulsy, you'll need at least a technical manager, some proofreaders, and of course translators. And maybe some photoshop work, though I'm not sure here. Expect also some to leave the party before the end.
Make sure you'll have nuff motivation and years of free time to make it. Find also a good communication system in real time if possible. Establish a roadmap, a glossary, and apply some basics rules concerning Vous or Tu for exemple. May sounds silly, but think about a lone wolf versus a party concerning dialogues. Also, decide if you want to translate proper nouns (and their short forms like ECLS) and stick to that rule.
Be familiar with the technical explanations given by Nick here :

Cook yourself some build in order to chase the bugs from your advanced WIP.
And of course, the more you master the game, the more you'll understand pieces of text given without context, spot some idioms, and how the dialog trees are build, otherwise you may get lost quickly.
why not give peoples (a fan made :)) the opportunity to translate the game only just the text ? i would really like to help you to translate it but my english is very not fluently. Maybe some people could help you.
I really want to buy your game but there is too much english for me :) and i don't want miss any parts of the story
