What did you do with Eden Crowe? [Spoiler]
So, just out of interest, how did you handle Eden Crowe and the whole traitor quest and why? Did you go Abraham's way, convinced Hanson to spare her or kill her/have herself killed?

It usually depends on which faction I'm siding with.

With the church, I go with Abraham's plan, with the Brotherhood I get her back into the fold, and with the Protectors I kill her.

Depends on my whim for that particular run. I might fight if I want the combat xp but I'll more likely convince her to do my bidding, and that's more often than not remaining alive.

Obviously convince Hanson to spare her then go in and kill her anyways so you can double dip on both diplomacy&combat SP... as far as Hanson's concerned the gal chose to take the hard way out since the only witnesses to the incident are saying so :steammocking:

Okay so you basically go min/max instead of consciousness?

I killed Crowe every time. Only exceptions were when I needed her alive for some steam achievements. Exp for Faythe, skulls for the Vince throne.

Not minmaxing for me. If I'm a fighter, it makes sense to just use the same tool for this job I've been using all along. If I'm a talker, I will do according to what my character believes is best, and that varies based on who he/she wanted to side with and the ideology I gave him or her.

She was dead by default as soon as Hanson learned about her actions i simply flexed my diplomacy skills on Hanson to make it seem like hes got more options when in reality i saw no issue with hes reasoning(hes attendant was a moron that wanted to ensure a war with low odds of success will occur)

As for the wtf of it, there is method to the madness: you are a mercenary crew after all and being able to be relied upon for more then assassination work is a fool prof plan: if war breaks out you are still a capable hitman squad but if peace does hold then you can also be seen as a reliable hostile situations negotiator(one that doesn't pull the trigger when odds aren't in hes favor/doesn't stir up ♥♥♥♥ for no reason) or simply a glorified body guard squad...

Either way you slice it its much better for your survival odds to be seen as smb that can offer some new options/fresh insights for a particular problem then being the ones that get woken up in the middle of the night to go in blind to location x for an unspecified reason(you like surprises don't you ?!) to clean up someone else's f'ups ...

PS: screw conscience its best if the only agenda on your list is the survival&rise of your own crew's reputation and the continued existence of your generous patron, so gambling on a traitor's change of heart is not exactly a sane carrier move :steammocking:

yeah thats why I actually 'like' her out of the picture too. I have my crew trying to keep the fragile peace and Abraham is just trying to use her to set the groups up even more for his benefit. Then again, I don't like being seen as a hitman either. So I could simply try to convince Hanson to have her life another day to make up for it but she shows no insight or anything. And indeed, it won't benefit me.
