I spent only 2 pulse grenade and do not use energy weapon at all in entire battle. And my squad wasn't perfect build.
This battle should be *extremely* difficult, near impossible, but now it laughably easy.
When I first played, I thought, how many waves will there be? Maybe 10-15 would be too many, but 5-6 should be the minimum. I stocked up on all possible consumables to the limit and prepared to give my best. I took the third wave as the first of the serious ones. But when I was told that this was it, I was disappointed beyond measure.
All in all, such a final battle would be good for the "Hero" level, but not for the *real* game.
Yeah, exactly. Especially since the texts are trying to lead you to believe that the waves would be *unending*, and that it'd be a suicide mission. Turns out it's just three groups of dudes trying to fight you lol...
Dungeon Rats had something like that, it would be worth expanding and expanding the concept.
Yeah, I vaguely remember the final Dungeon Rats fight! I think two of my dudes were already down and out, and my MC somehow had to tank/dodge everything while the remaining dude pelted arrows from afar. Was pretty scary, and one could a lot more epic than this ending fight!
Honestly did not like the progression in Dungeon Rats at all...Especially at the beginning, you are more or less pushed into dodge build due to the lack of actual armor (for a very long time). It was also kind of painful to hang around low quality cannon fodders for quite some time before you get to the more viable companions, but by then it'd be kind of too late to customize the actual good companions...All in all, I think Colony Ship has a MUCH, MUCH better party progression.
Though they seriously need to fix this new ending fight xD...
