If you have an intelligence implant you can overclock it at the one robot dude in the little maintenence area of the ship, i forget the name of it. it allows you to tag another skill.
What your skill values? With 5 disposition you can fail checks at least twice, but depends a lot on the difference between check and skill value.
My skill value is 5
and Further more you are failing to a guy that you defeated an entire army for.
I mean... idk man. aint all about disposition. you gotta actually work on the different types of speech and stuff
PS: a 6 in streetwise/persuasion is the most you can get(best i could get at least) without investing in a speech tag if you just focus mostly on combat&stealth but that is plenty for most things if played well especially if you hold in reserve the possibility of a datajack OC to drop a tag on after most combat has been dealt with...
I have 5 in the skill and 5 starting disposition.
I'm gonna lose it anyway
The losing card I'll someday lay
So this is all I have to say
The point is you being able to beat all the other disposition challenges in the game with no investment in speech. You took a gamble on taking +initial disposition instead of any speech tags and it didn't pay off in this instance.
Yes. The main thing with going for high disposition and no tags is that you need to compensate with high skill usage, which would net a skill in the 7-8 range. A speech skill of 5 didn't see enough use (meaning going for speech solutions over combat ones).
In any case, the issue might not that Stanton is too high per se, but that several others before that are too low, and created an expectation that 5 speech was enough to do everything (so King Stanton appears as an outlier). Disposition is very useful, but it is meant to complement speech skills and tags, not fully overriding it. So you can go no tags, but need higher usage (or go for low usage and tags).
In any case, we'll take a look at the balance of this check and other ones.
that makes sense to me. Ill change it in the next run.
