End of Factory Storyline (spoiler)
I want to start by saying that I love Factory storyline. It's intense, and a welcome change of plot and gameplay structure after Chapter 1.

However, I have a lot of "where am I?" moments at the end of that storyline. The party was moved to different locations with no hints. Just dialogue, flash, another dialogue.

First, I tried to parley with Blackhand but failed. I was talked to by Garret, thrown to Habitat entrance and then William Hanson's office, and then back to Habitat entrance. I was very confused and felt the scenes were rushed. And I really don't like the way I was thrown back to the entrance as if I haven't been into Habitat already.
I reloaded an earlier save and fought Blackhand. After the combat, I was thrown back to Fort Stanton, and then Garret came. Was I still at Fort Stanton, or was I back to Blackhand's base talking to him? Very confused again.


It was a letdown for me. Is it just me, or anyone else feel the same?

Regarding the Habitat, it was because starting in a different place would break the order of events, so we needed you to go back to the entrance as all other starts. I didn't like it much, but having you start inside the BR created quite a few issues with the script sequencing, and this was the best solution for a rare event.

About the other situation, I assume is the one with Bart. I need to properly set the visuals (the text says you go with Stanton to the Fort, but you are still visually on the Black Hand). I'll fix it in a later pass.

We had to do these sequences as free-roaming at that point would have created a lot of scripting issues (as the events changed the structure of the location), and it works a bit like an "end of quest cutscene". There are lots of variations in that quest, so it was easier to handle them all via the dialogues.

We'll see what we can do to improve it when everything else is done.

Glad you've noticed the flaw and been trying to improve it. I was worried. This part almost made me quit playing.

Putting me back to the Habitat entrance really breaks immersion for me, because, for one, the dialogue with Brotherhood gate guard indicates that I haven't been inside the Habitat before, and for another, there's absolutely no reason that the party returns to the entrance.
