I assume you ran into a difficult fight. For feedback purposes, may I ask which fight?
That's what I did and frankly I'm having a better time of it even with a weaker combat MC(Evans and Jed pick up the slack MAJORLY).
If you have someone with high movement, go close the door and it'll delay their fourth guy from entering the fight proper till turn 2.
I assume you're running this with Evan, Jed and Fayth if a full party?
You need to add the option to change diff after creation. I'm not very far in but i'm not gonna go back and replay simply because you only have 2 diff settings.
Nah, I just refunded it. I was interested but the difficulty balance is WAY off in a way that any intermediate DM would understand.
There's always playing on a difficulty setting other than hard.
