Additional Squad leader implants?

Apart from Jimmy's 'merch' in the pit are there any more squad leader implants ? I think I harvested one of a dead protector whist doing the sneak mission on Rowley(?) in the Shuttle Bay but that's quite late.
I don't really want to kill Jimmy next time but want the implant.

There are three options now:
1. Killing Jimmy
2. Siding with Nico in shuttle Bay and killing protectors commander rowley in a sneak mission
3. Extract it from the final Courthouse fight after you return to the pit from habitat and if braxton is in charge

One of the devs also mentioned that there will be fourth one added in the near update

Either way, Jimmy is the earliest possible way of getting the implant currently

Yes, it will be sold at the Heart.

Okay, the beta branch update has been released:
one squad leader can be bought from medic in the heart
another squad leader can be extracted from the corpse of one of the guards in the tough main questline battle

main questline battle:
Killing the Great Mother (dunno for sure are guards lootable after combat or not)

another source of that implant is
Jed's Companion quest in Heart against Ismael & 5th Daughter, "Righteous Vengeance"
head to the north-east corner of the map with Jed
this quest has several options, you should choose those that lead to combat with both mutants & humans
the implant will be on 5th Daughter's body (mutant sergeant)

keep in mind that this path will lead to -10 rep with mutants & the combat itself is quite hard

is there a downside to offing Jimmy? is it going to affect/come back to haunt us later in the game?

There will be a quest involving him in Mission Control. Jimmy dead = no quest.

Sharp Face is not gonna return. His death is almost guatanteed anyway. You either kill him personally or he gets killed by armory turret security when you open the vaukt.

Yeah, there's a rare option in which you can make him leave, but we won't be bringing him back.

There are currently only 6 squad leaders (half of which are in the heart). Riggs only carries an unique revolver.
Tbh, it's kind of odd that Heart trader casually sells such rare and expensive equipment but that's probably because of game balance reasons.
Maybe in the future (or in full game) there will be more alternative options to gain it earlier.

Yep, that's the one you can extract from Rowley, the Protectors' leader, if you side with Nico and decide to sneak up on them.
