I'm trying to figure out where the robot to repair is. I have the gyroscope and the head, but no robot.

You need access to the security quarters, and for that you have to somehow deal with Hargrave.

You'll also need the armor plates behind the locked door guarded by the laser turrets.

What area is this in?

In the mission control area i think in 3rd level down there is a ruined floor you have to climbed down and have computer six to unlock after it's open there is 2 doors one needs electronics 6 and 1 can be opened the plates are in the one you can open if memory serves me right.

Thanks. Also, where is the robot that's supposed to be repaired?

You need to deal with Hargrave in the room with the area locked by the energy field. After you open the field, you go down the elevator inside, and the robot is right by.
