Around 1k for a 3 man sized crew *
* with all shop stalls picked clean of relevant consumables(medium gas&flash+energy cells)
Over all not exactly swing in cash despite domino-ing trough every combat I can find.

Hey bros. How long will the survey go for? Currently playing Darklands and I already forgot how much monies I can make in chapter 1. So will need to do fresh runs to give accurate estimate.

This is a little awkward for me, because I rarely bother to sell loot because I'm a hoarder. For a non-combat character that still does all optional fights, I ended around

500 credits and full party

But selling the mostly useless crap, 1750. Selling basically everything but consumables and stuff currently equipped, 2500. Never bought anything combat-related except squad leader and datajack. Always turned money into skill points when possible though.

Blunt guy, party 3 - Raw credits in save: 1,731. Liquidate old equipment total credits: 3,038

Talky guy, party 4 - Raw credits in save: 1,732 . Liquidate old equipment total credits: 3,559

Solo blade guy, party 1 - Raw credits in save: 3660. Liquidate old equipment total credits: 4,305

Impression: most of the surplus cash from right before the Factory seems to come from selling the loot from the Saloon or the HQ assaults. If one were to do the easier versions, then there would be significantly less cash.

01.08.21

- 2131, party 4, all melee (most of the cash was from Regulator HQ assault, was broke before)


28.07.21

- 230, party 4, Cult Leader, MC skillmonkey

- 444, party 1, minimum dex

- 2022, party 1, pistols (most of the cash was spent on buying disruptor grenades)

- 2066, party 4, Cult Leader, all murder

- 2407, party 1, shotgun

- 2548, party 4, Mastermind, non-combat

- 2565, party 1, sneak, non-combat

- 3455, party 1, melee



These are all the characters I have saves from, all values are before the Factory, after selling everything I deemed useless and buying anything I deemed useful (one or two grenades, so for most of them the raw cash value is +300 credits higher on average).

The main difference in run cost was the fact that I had to buy equipment for some of the builds, as opposed to just winging it (usually the Judgement shotgun for Jed and a Pipe Dream for Evans).

I have not many good saves to try this but the one I have feels quite relevant:

-0 or nearly 0 for a 4 team with a cult leader, not having give back the debt from Jed, and not having buy all the top gear I would like to buy (Mainly the Judgement for Jed and a couple of mid grenades). Maybe I have made some bad decitions in this game but it seems to me that the economy is realli thig. This build has get the payment from Jonas and from Jed and done all the content.

On my solo builds I am much richer, but not has rich has many states, maybe 1,5k? I really think that the economy is a bit too hard for new players and for big groups (the bigger the group the bigger the expends on healing). And I am not really fan of the game turning into an economy management simulator. My solutions are either the selling values return to 15% or you include more payments from quest, example: the church missions give nearly any reward.

6k credits - duo (more money if I was solo). Faythe was a pistol user, so I couldn't sell any fancy guns that she had her eyes on. But if she was melee, I'd get more monies from selling 9mm ammo and pistols.
