I also wanna fail. A Big. Flail. Two handed Mace sounds awesome too.
That said, I assume this would be a fair amount of new programming to handle non-lethal damage, and either a large amount of extra scripting to handle multiple possible outcomes of every fight, or a relatively limited impact relative to the work involved if only a small fraction of fights care about it. It's just a thought though. After all, prisoners sell better than corpses.
I forgot to add another criteria: the weapons must fit the existing animations, so no quarterstaff or flails. Maces are too similar to hammers but we can consider it.
Two-handed is unlikely but we can consider a laser 'sword'-like cutter: a laser beam between two metal points, sort of like a low-clearance hacksaw.
