How to open .rwmod files? OR extract maps from .rwmod files?
I have downloaded a starcraft rusted warfare mod, which converts the game to starcraft.
The mod is a single .rwmod file that you place into units, then you can play the game. The mod comes with maps in it. In those maps there are mineral patches from starcraft 1, and the regular resource nodes are turned into vespene geysers.

When you any other non starcraft maps, the mod works fine, except that there are no mineral patches placed on the map, so you can not get resources, therefore not be able to play the game.

What I am wondering is if it's possible to open the .rwmod file, extract the map or the mineral code/sprites so I can place the minerals into any map of my choosing using "Tiled Map Editor".

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the link to the starcraft mod for anyone interested. It took a while for me to find since it's made by a Russian person

Put it on mods/units path as usual and open the game, it can read it without decompressing.

Thank you, that unfortunately was not what I was looking for though. I can browse through the maps in the game when I load the mod but I could not extract them into tiled map editor that way. But I figured out to open the .rwmod file as a .rar file, then I could browse its contents and load the maps into tiled.

In case anyone wanted to know what I did to get the minerals working, I opened the mod as a .rar file, I opened one of the maps using Tiled map editor, and all the tilesets were custom so they were missing. In the box above the map editor window, there is a list of files which failed to load. I found the one that failed to load "crystal", I double clicked it and went into the Mod rar file and searched for "crystal.png" (or whatever image extension it was) and double clicked the picture to select it for the missing file.

Then what happened is tiled recognized what the crystal was, BUT in the map editor it looked only like a white dot, but that's fine because whenever I load a map with that white crystal dot, it turns into a mineral at game start and you can mine from it.
