Workshop map uploading
Hello, I just made a simple map based on the example one. I would like to know how to send it to workshop. I'm on the steam beta group and using the "next" version on beta folder.

Don't need the beta build for workshop uploading that is live now. For maps upload them like any unit mod, and the maps will be detected. So a bit weirdly you need to put them under the /mods/units/<your_mod> path, also include the mod-info.txt file

By doing that, I came up with a question, should I create a folder inside the units folder containing both the map and the .txt file or just put the two inside the units folder without creating a new folder?

You need a folder with your mod name.

Am I doing it correctly?
Also keep in mind that the first one is in the "units" folder.

Nevermind, I found the "Upload to workshop" on the game. DIdn't know it was like that, thanks to both of you and sorry for wasting your times.
I'm trying to put it on the workshop, but at the moment it says that a Title is required in the "mod-info.txt" file.

Did you get mod-info.txt from the built-in example mod or is it an empty file?

This is what the example mod-info.txt looks like if you cannot find it:

[mod]
title: Mega Builders
description: Example mod which replaces builders with Mega Builders
tags: starting-units, units
thumbnail: mod-thumbnail.png

Yes you need a title. Also, the windows notepad is not recomended to read ini files. Things will get much clearer if you use notepad++.

Thanks to both. I managed to upload using the mod info template a day earlier.
