Rusted Warfare mods and maps are free for anyone, do not pay for downloadable content on Steam or other stores like Play Store. We have received several notices of people trying to make money from the creations of other users through third party apps. Follow the next recommendations to protect yourself from this scam:

-Do not pay for mods/maps unless you are doing a direct contribution to your favorite creators (P2P transactions with PayPal, Binance, Patreon, etc.).

-Download mods/maps from official sites. Like the Rusted Warfare official Discord server[discord.gg], the Rusted Warfare Steam workshop or the Rusted Warfare official Forum[corrodinggames.com]. Most mod creators have their own Discord servers as well and share them through the official one.

-Do not rely on mod/map dedicated apps, no matter the platform, dedicated mod/map apps are not official in any way.

-Make sure the platforms you use to download mods are official by checking the Corroding Games logo or the Luke admin/dev name.

Remember that this is not only harmful for players, but also for modders as they create your favorite content and do not receive any money from it.
