how do i install mods? (not workshop, zip files.)

Just place the mod in the mod folder on your local PC. To find the mod folder, open the Rusted Warfare game in the Steam client. Select the manage button and then properties. Go to Installed files. Now you can browse your locally installed files and find the location of the mod folder.

hi i was wondering if you knoew how to do this with maps?

got a mod that changes units or adds units? what do i just dump dozens upon dozens of different things from different mods in the mod folder and i have to manually select everything in game? for example downloaded a mod for units, and its about 190 files for units or something... i just know adding them in the big folder they came in, to the mod folder, the game doesnt detect them

the mod units go to the mods unit folder and mod maps go into the folder that mods have normaly have custom maps folder by the way when you manauly instal them unpack the .zip fodler fist then click and drag moded units into there repective mod unit folders and for moded maps they normaly go into the custom moded maps folder. you have to do this for every mod units fodler and map folder eacth for local instaltion. i know this bescue i have been insatling mods manauly for years.

also eacth mod that adds units need ther own sprate unit folder for eacth adonal mod by the way so they don't get scrambled by the way.
