Can i make a custom soundtrack somehow?

Hello, yes you can add your sounds to \Rusted Warfare\assets\music\ into the respective folders.

You add to it or just remove vanilla songs if you only want yours.

If you have trouble finding the Rusted Warfare folder then in Steam go to Library and rigth-click on "Rusted Warfare - RTS" then click Properties and then in Local Data tab and click "browse local files"

Make sure your music is converted to .ogg, you can do this online or using a program like FormatFactory

Ah alright.
Is there a way to make the soundtrack only change with a mod?

I'm in the process of making my own mod and i'd like to have the game play my chosen tracks when i enable it.

It is not currently possible. The best thing you can do right now, is to mute the game's music and play your own on your favorite media player when you want specific songs for your mods.
