Performance issues on high-end PC
I have a significantly high spec rig (RTX 3080, i9 10900k, 32GB ram, 2TB SSD) and for some reason I have huge frame dips. I'll have a pretty silky smooth 60 FPS for a minute, then I'll dip to like 20/30 fps for a second or two. I also have horrible framerate during the intro (with the LEGO and TT splash screens).

I've tried altering the priority to real time. The game is installed on my SSD. There are no other applications running, save for Steam. I've tried lowering the settings, including turning v-sync off, toggling between full-screen and windowed. I've restarted. Latest graphics drivers. No change.

Nothing seems to improve this issue for me... It's a killer too, because the hangs are pretty long, very harsh and occur frequently.

Turns out I needed to set the .exe to run as administrator. In case anyone else has the same issue.

Hey!

  1. Navigate to your install folder (should be something like: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2)
  2. Right-click on LEGOMARVEL2.exe
  3. Click properties
  4. Click "compatibility"
  5. Make sure "run this program as an adminstrator" is checked on
  6. Do the same for LEGOMARVEL2_DX11.exe

I'm not sure if both .exe files need setting, as I just did both before testing and it worked.

hey thnx. i think i only toggled one to run as admin, and got stuck in a "enter admin password" loop

Ah yeah, you'll need to make sure your active user account is set as an admin on your PC.

Bonjour j'ai beau avoir essayé de faire tout ce qu'était dit avant le jeux ne veut pas. J'ai un i7 12th gen et une rtx 4060 aero
if above fix doesn't work.... I found a different solution which is: deactivate your internet connection. I've read it could be some issue with oculus files and some other stuff.
I've had some serious lag issues with this game especially in the HUB, disconnecting from internet by unplugging the cable fixed this for me.
