Both are quite bugged, but very fun.
The first tends to point things out and hand-hold you, both to its credit and detriment. Second doesn't tell you ANYTHING, just expects you to know from 1, and also the changes they've made from 1 (this was frustrating).
1's map is better, 2nd is a little too... chaotic.
1's comedy is quite childish, 2's is a bit more well written.
1 Has a nice lot of content and it's DLCs are cosmetic only and some vehicles which unfortunately were cut from the game to make more money, this DLC can actually bug you play-through and make 100% unobtainable in game as it has for me.
2 has has even more content, but only if you buy the deluxe edition with all the DLC (so ALWAYS wait for it to come on deal).
1 has the better voice actors, but the voice actors in 2 still do a good job.
Friendly AI in both IS ATROCIOUS (but a little bit better in one, they get stuck on things less).
Puzzles are better in 1, but 2 has a couple of bigger quest like puzzles i've been enjoying.
Flying is MUCH better in 2, web slinging is not.
Fireing weapons is better in 1, as well as the character's special moves, they have put TO MANY abilties on the same damn button in 2 that you have to hold, and ya know what? It can interfere with something as small as jumping over a damn object, WHEN EVEN YOUR JUMP AS A CHARGE.
I'd day buy both on the next discount as there is just enough in 2 to make it fun.... but imo 1 > 2. Its more refined and feels less rushed.
