Game will not run

Game will not start for me. Steam popup window says "Preparing to launch Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2" and then it goes away a second later. Nothing else happens. Have updated graphics, rebooted, tried launching both exe's from explorer window, run as administrator. I have an i7, 16gb ram, gtx 960.

So it started for me after the game worked once on steam link, and then would launch, flicker my monitor resolution and then minimize with no audio in the background. Reinstalling did not work and neither did deleting steams appcache folder.

Recently I was able to get the game to luanch by deleting its registry key entries located at:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\647830

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LMSH2

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore\Children\21e9c539-678e-41c9-9adf-3560d87cd457

This is repeatable for me on a fresh install or if you backup immediatley after installing. Don't know how it works or why. Use at own risk. I now consider myself as good a dev as LMSH2 creators. Good Luck.

no luck. I don't even have 2 of those keys. I only had the Valve\Steam key. I also uninstalled and redownloaded/installed. no difference.
