Can't free play "Defying Conventions"
(Using knockoff xbox controller on PC)

Did story mode just fine.
Got all 10 eggs in the mini game at the end.
Go to do free play to get pink brick.
Says "A for story, X for free play"
Hit X and it goes into story mode again.

Hitting B cancels, any other button does nothing.

Try it with your Key Board. If that don't work, then i can't help there!

Solved it.

I was trying to play it from the free roam area instead of the "LEVELS" tab on the overhead map.
