How to remove Player 2?

I have a keyboard and I pressed F2 and now I added a second player. How do I remove him? Dropout only works for P1

Are you pressing enter on the numpad to open player 2's Menu? If you aren't then press that. Use the arrow keys to go down and press "2" on the numpad to select.

Then how comes it doesn't work for me?
I'm doing the exact same thing, i check what controls are for P2, but it doesn't work.

Starting with gamepad as P1 and then sometimes needed P2 to do stuff I activated P2 through keyboard F2. Dropout P2 worked perfectly In Avengers and Superheroes as described by Marksthesplotch.

But in Superheroes 2 as soon as I press Num Enter to drop P2, the whole keyboard is ignored (not even ESC, Enter OR mouse works). Only inputs from gamepad work and when I go down (D-pad) and press (A) it kicks P1 out.

It's only usable for P1 when it's activated through keyboard F1.

I have the exact same problem atm have you figured out how to get rid of p2? I hate playing in split screen! I have Lego dc villains and don't have this issue on there at all. Some one please help!

Hey everyone!

The above works fine for me if P2 is activated by using F2. However, I have a different type of issue:
When starting the game with one gamepad, a second player is automatically added and is "seen" by the game as a gamepad controlled one. Hence the keyboard solution does not work.
Is there any solution for this other Than buying a second controller?

Hi, I bought the game thinking it was only going to be 1 main character gameplay with multiplayer. Why is the game tag include multiplayer when it is co-op not multiplayer this is just false advertising!
If I'm wrong... there is no options for multiplayer It just said start new game.

How do I play as only 1 main character in the game on screen? I don't want no split screen game-play + 2 or more characters playing in the game. I just want to focus on 1 main character, not multiple characters running in the game. I don't have the numpad on the keyboard. How do we also skip the the cut-scenes in the game. It also keep telling me to press F2 in the beginning to add another character but I dont want to do it. Please Help ASAP Thank You!

You can play single-player, while your other characters are controlled by AI, doing what it's scripted to do to help you finish missions.

I play TT Lego Games since Lego Star Wars, and i always played them Solo.

every time i press (X) on my gamepad it adds a second player and i have to go into options to give it controls again to drop it out but then they just come back at the press of a button

I have the same issue and its just so annoying I can't play the game in spilt screen its so distracting

Hi everyone! I know this is an old thread but if you load your save in keyboard and mouse and then use kb and m to go to controls and then change device for p1 to controller and click save changes, it will now work without the issue!

it doesn't even work for me, when i click in save changes and press the O button the second player goes in.

I know this might be an old discussion but i purchased the lego avengers and lego super heroes 1 & 2 probably 2 years ago maybe more and i played for 5 minutes on each cause of this problem and only recently fixed my problem trying to play 1 player on xbox controller, my fix was since i have the elite 2 controller, i always used the bluetooth to connect and neither game worked at all, a ton of bugs, i went and purchased the xbox usb dongle and switched to that and now everything works as it should. I imagine using a cable to connect to your pc would and should work as well, i only figured this out when trying to play elden ring cause the controller would not work unless i used bluetooth to connect and not the dongle so i can only hope that others see this and give this a try on not only this game but many others
