No input with controller

When i start the game i can press on the x button on a ps4 controller to get in the main menu. But then if i go to controls (with my keyboard) there stands no input. So i cant play this game with my controller. Lego games with a keyboard is hard so i really want the controller working. Could anybody help???

To summarize, I had a problem with Lego games when I wanted to use my ps4 controller with or without DS4.
I browsed the internet and I did not find a solution. I ended up finding a solution that worked for me
and I share it with you.

Bug bug solution with Lego games.

1. Connect your controller (without DS4 open)

2.Open steam in Big Picture mode.

3.Go to parameter (top right icon) and select joystick parameter.

4.check the Playstation setup support box.

5. return to the main menu and open the game in Big Picture mode.

Steam Big Picture Mode usually solves this issue :)
