Red Enemy Armor

So I'm playing and for the most part I'm enjoying myself but for the life of me I can't figure out which power is supposed to be able to destroy the red colored enemy armor. I'm currently on Damocles fighting the giant glowing naked guy whose name I can't remember and there are a couple of little Kang baddies running around with bright red armor. They first showed up on a Medusa and Black Bolt mission and now this is a Star Lord and Iron Man and Spider-Man mission so it makes me think somehow it's a tentacle hair/spider-person thing but whenever I get Spidey to lock on to them he just shoots webs at them, doesn't grab to pull their armor off or anything. This is so freaking annoying.

Anybody figure these guys out?

(ps - whenever I try to google "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 enemy armor" or "red armor" or w/e I get stuff about Iron Man or Red Skull so please do not tell me to Google it.)

Korvac and i honestly can't recall how i defeated them. Grabs. Bombs. Beams or Tag Team Moves. Like i spammed them all.

As quakster said, kicking them off a ledge is only way to kill enemies with red armor. I tried to use all types of weapon, but nothing worked.

there is no ability that cn take their red armor off just kick and punch them until they fall from the stage

Really? You have to push them off the edge?
The game doesn't even tell you this. The tooltip just says "Some enemies wear armor. Use certain abilities to break it"
This is a game targeted at children and they do stupidly annoying things like this.
Didn't help during the Korvak boss where i was constantly getting knocked around, which glitched out Tony's laser.
Also i hate the ninja enemies cos they can never take damage.

Actually yes they can (hint they are vulnerable when attacking) also there's a few things I noticed with the red armor guys that tipped me off to shoving them off the ledge firstly one of the red armor guys that spawn after saving Stan Lee in Attilan fell off the edge and died instantly (that's the biggest hint) secondly they are stunned super easily and lastly your hits have insane knockback against them this is a kids game so when you actually break it down nothing is THAT hard you just really have to pay attention also team up moves can kill them also someone said they ran at them in wakanda with Black panther and used his claws to kill them and said to "try claws or swords"
