Help with the races?

As usual, I am really really bad at the races. I haaaaate the races. The new thing where you have to not only finish the race but also get it in a fast enough time is making it doubly frustrating (it takes me long enough to FINISH the race before the gates disappear).

Any tips on these? Is there a character that is best for the flying races? (ARGH, the flying races!) What about vehicles? In previous games there were certain characters and vehicles that were slightly better, but I'm so bad at the flying and vehicle races that I really can't tell at this point.

Are you playing with keyboard or controller? Try a plane if the characters are too twitchy for you, or vice versa.

Controller, always. In general the problem is that I have terrible aim.

Terrible aim is not something the choice of character can help you with, sadly.

XBL which plane would you suggest for curing the 'twitch'? That Green Goblin race is driving me nuts.

I just tried again, both with a randomly selected character and a small plane (big ones get stuck on that race):

And I would describe myself as bad concerning such things. Really surprised about my time with the plane, it felt rather slow.

Nice. I'll try that one then. The cars feel slow too, but they allow for better control that way.

I just made the Green Goblin race with Wasp. My advice is don't try to fly with A+B Buttons. Try to use R3

I got frustrated with the car timed race in the Old West. Every time I went to drive up the hill to the Old West town, there would be so many townsfolk walking on the road. If I'd hit a person the wrong way, it would send me veering off to the side and over the cliff. Avoiding the other vehicles on the road is difficult enough, but trying to not hit the people in the road in a timed race is frustrating as hell.

I used a car with a gun to kill off a lot of the big obstacles, but then you have to avoid the drivers at all cost. They'll stop you dead in your tracks if you hit them.

I ended up just barely finishing the goblin race with Captain Marvel (Unmasked). The planes wouldn't drop altitude fast enough. Also, I always used the two sticks to fly. The big issue was that it'd either turn a tiny bit or it'd shoot me off in whatever direction I was holding. The levelling out wasn't helping either.

Any advice for the motorcycle race on Attilan? When I get to the fifth gate, Ghost Rider's motorcycle always slides off the incline and falls off the city. Is there some trick to it, or another vehicle you can use?

That one's absolute garbage. Take a shorter one, like Gwenpool's, or the Winter Soldier's.

Yeah, I just unlocked Gwenpool's bike from the golden statue challenge, and got the race done with no trouble using it.
