Game doesn't run in VR mode

Aside from the game key not activating, the game also doesn't run in VR mode and only does once you manually enter the launch parameters "-vrmode openvr"

Yeah, that sounds like a symptom of the overall "Oculus controls through Steam" issues that we're working on... hope to have a resolution for that soon!

No, I'm on the Vive. It just says "press enter" My vive wands don't have an "enter" and the keyboard doesn't work.

Oh, sorry, your first post says "It won't detect Oculus controllers." so I thought you were refering to the same issue you were encountering. It looks like other players have been able to circumvent this issue by restarting a few times, but that isn't a very satisfactory workaround... could you please contact www.support.ubi.com so we can track this and request more technical information if necessary? Thanks for your help!

Problems solved with the new update! , write a positively review the game to support it, it deserves it. So as not to hurt the sales of the game and get AAA VR titles from big developers in the future.

Same problem here. Game just won't start in VR but in normal Desktop mode (Rift). Even if started directly from SteamVR (which is a nightmare since Oculus Home 2.0 and always crashes)

I did the vrmode and it was working fine yesterday. Today I cant get it to load at all. I open it in either steam or directly on my desktop and it goes straight into VR mode every time. The problem is it gets to the first screen asking me to hit the enter key and I have no way to do it. It does not recognize the keyboard and it does not respond to any of the cntrold on the VR wands. I have tried everything I can think of. Nothing is working. I am very frustrated because I wanted to play the game. I got it as a gift with my VR set up. it is an interesting game. Any idea when the issues of loading are going to be fixed? Will the key fix stop this from happening upon loading the game after the initial set up?

I was having this problem. Load it in regular mode, then go to settings and turn on VR mode. It'll relaunch in VR.

Hello everyone, I am sorry to hear of your issues with launching Transference in VR. Thank you for sharing your advice and workaround for this issue in this thread as well, Hussite.

Can anyone confirm for me if this issue is still occurring at present, or if in one of the updates to the game since, it has been resolved? If you have used alternative workarounds / steps, can you please let me know what these are / were, so that I can take these into account? Thank you.
