Neverending black screen between days

I am currently on day 57 with Baby as captain. I get the event "A phobian is approaching, clutching its shoulders and looking about... Do you wish to heed what it says?" But no matter what I choose or do/not do I just get a never-ending black screen.

I have also a neverending black screen after ending the day. There is a storm event and i use the mask. I would finish upgrading my expedition system to level 2 in the next day, anyhow i believe this is the reason. There is a mission atm with wait until astro is finish with the message.

I, too have this ending, but I have nothing major happening. It's just a normal thing you usually see, like the robot with the skull on it and it asks you if you want to let it in or something, but no matter what I do I can't proceed to the next day. This upset me because i'm about to get a new ending and I don't want to have to go through 70 days all over again

I've had this happen to me twice, both late game, both on different planets and different days. That being said, I've only had the game for a day and thats more times I'd like to encounter the same bug in such a short play time.

Both the events in the previous day before the black screen were different. The trigger seems to be a next day event that wont load. I say this because if you hit escape in the never ending black screen and go back to the menu, then load the game, the next day will load (if you got the trigger going from day 50 to 51, you'll be on 51) but when you go to the decision machine thingy, nothing loads. Though nothing loads, you can still make a selection. But that only triggers the never ending load screen again, and the cycle repeats.

Also, I don't know if this would help you guys figure out what the broken event is, but when you click on the boxes, the four options are empty black box, strenght, strength (again, but with a different level,) and agility. Here's a picture of the selected black box [puu.sh] It was the same both times the bug happened to me.

I have the same issue with April's mission. I was about to finish all engine upgrades, and the next day just wouldn't load. Should have been day 18 or 19, but the screen just stays black.

It works now. Loaded my old save game and i didnt get a never ending black screen after ending the turn.
