Best Possible Strategy?
So I have tried to survive this but its impossible for me, I always get all the crew (always leaving Tom behind) and all the items I can, but the problem for me is the food, I always run out of food so at least 2 people dies from starvation, and then I don't even know how to get saved, I need any tips possible.

I think using Emmet is the best captain cause of his intelligence and most of the skill checks need Intelligence. His agility is high enough for everything else. Any time I get an intelligence check on anyone else they always fail it.
For food I usually wait till they're starving to feed the crew. Feeding the crew while they're hungry seems to do nothing. If I have chemicals I usually use them all them make more Soup. If I have the resources I'll make Artifacts then recycle them into more Chemicals to make more soup.
Typically everyone starves to death by day 35. I've so far only had 1 expedition actually return, the rest always die.
Saving takes place automatically at the start of each day.

Always have 2 crewmates. Any more is pretty impossible, as food is scarce. The game is HARD, but it will take time for you to learn how to survive. So far I haven't seen anyone beat the game with a full crew, but i'm sure it's possible with some good luck xD

Well, you can't save everyone for sure. Someone is going to starve. Maybe you can if you got insanely lucky. Letting someone starve for one day isn't the end. I usually let it go one more day to stretch food out. Sometimes you can get lucky a second day. Each time you play, it's a story, even if you die. You are very likely to die without reason. From what I can tell, only 1 or 2 members may survive. The best way to think of this game, is watch the series "The 100" on netflix for a basic tutorial. You need to be as pessimistic as possible.

The 100? You mean a deus ex machina is going to save the protagonist on average every 4.3 seconds?

Get energy during the sixty seconds part with some rocks, upgrade your crafting system, and start making as many items as possible.

Correct. The Captain must survive. Everyone else is expendable. It's the same concept.
