Game won't open

I've been trying to play this game for week and nothing I do helps me load into the game. Every time I open it, the app either says (not responding) or never closes out the instant after I press play. I've tried updating my graphics card, launching in windowed mode, and turning off my antivirus. Nothing works, please help.

Hi, I'm really sorry about the problem.
I know some players can't play in any way, but I never found a solution because I can't reproduce the problem on my computers.
Generally, it can depend by 2 kinds of issues:
- graphics problem
- compatibility problem.

Have you tried to change the resolution before the start?
Maybe you have old hardware with an old driver (for example, the mouse)?

Ive tried the majority of the resolution when launching and unplugged my mouse while starting(don't know if that did anything). I know this is probably really annoying for you but do you have any other ideas?

Do not worry about me; when I hear about someone whose game doesn't start it always gives me a little pain in my heart because I remember when years ago it happened to me too and I felt bad.
For this reason, I always strive to solve problems of this type.
Unfortunately, however, if the problem is not reproducible on my computers, I have no way to test the solutions.
Can you try HW on another PC?

Sadly not, I think I might just keep this game in my library and try to open it every once and a while and hope that it works.

However, in the future, I will have to update HW to the new version of Unity.
Maybe that will resolve the problem.

No, sorry, also because I wait a good update of Unity for that.
The strange fact is HW is only my game that has that problem.
For example, Age of Undead is "similar" but it seems to work well to all players.

I am having the same problem with the game crashing when I load/start a new campaign. To be more specific, the game crashes whenever you press start a new campaign or try to load one. A unity error screen appears before the window says "not responding" and promptly closes. Not a single resolution I tried worked. Edit: so 1280x1024 and 640x480 (for my computer) make it to the prep screen but when I press start and the loading screen appears the same unity error pop up appears and the game crashes.

Hi, sorry for the problem.
You can solve that bug by changing the video quality (not the resolution).
Try to lower the quality before starting the campaign.

my game is also crashing even after i updated my drivers it used to work but stopped at the start of this year
