How to unlock costumes B?

Hi.

When I go to the clothes shop, I can only see items for costume type A.

How do I unlock the type B? Do I need to progress the story? I'm currently at the beginning of chapter 3.

Some costumes are gotten by using hexes on the world map.

Also there will be sidequests related to clothes in general, doing these (as well as going through the story) will unlock more in the shop
