Well since this is a PC release, you can always use cheat engine.

This is the kind of thing that really annoys me. They delve into the coding to change things that they have no reason to touch but don't even bother coding an exit option which is standard for the platform the expect to make money from.

Between that kind of crap and the lack of a massive difference in visual quality I'm glad I didn't buy it.

I know Dragon Quest XI didn't give an exit option either but I was hoping that was an anomaly rather that what seems to be becoming the norm from lazy developers.

I dunno how you can call developers lazy when you're the one who can't close an application without whining. Literally hit the X, it's not hard.

You kinda can't though. There's some crazy protection going on that prevents cheat engine from working. There's a topic about it on Fearless.

I tried and it doesn't work. 1st time I got the money but character 1 and 3 were deleted somehow. 2nd time my computer hard locked and I had to hard reset.

You go ahead and make excuses for developers who's only motivation is to make money and won't even include a basic function that's been a part of every computer program ever, all the while blaming someone else for daring to lament the laziness of it's absence.

Actually I had just seen your post and was replying when your new post popped up.

Do you know that in all the hours I played that game I utterly missed that option, why? I have no idea, but there you are. You are absolutely correct and I fully retract my comment regarding DQXI.

I always ended up at the title screen and quit the program from there.
