Cheatengine: money

Hi,

I cannot find how the money is stored. Is it 4 bit, 8 bit, double, little endian, big endian? Or is it something a lot more complex?

If someone is successful in this endeavor, ... Thanks already for sharing.

It seems that Tri-Ace is known for putting stupid little memory protections on the money, besides money is still 4 byte, but you need to mulitply it by 8 to find the proper value, but it breaks some parts like the 2 other party members aren't in your team.

Currently unsuccessful, even by multiplying by 8. Will try again in a few days. Not so much time to play these next days. Probably didnt configure my cheatengine correctly.

It also flaged all your saves and made the game crash and unbeatable if it detected any cheats.

The funniest part of VP2 is that no one can tell if that was on purpose or just the game's pretty horrible spaghetti code.

This is the second time that I've seen someone link this. It doesn't work. It removes 2 of your characters and it locks up your computer. It did for me anyway.

i suggest against using cheat engine. my idiot friend somehow broke one of his guns lol. you know during customization? well somehow his LP-09 pistol is nearly at the top left corner of the blueprint screen lol. he can only put beta scopes on the top and a 2x1 muzzle attachment . he actually managed to put 5 high mount scopes on the mag side attachment because of all the room to the bottom right of the gun . he said he was using fearless' table and only using the hexes cheat. he did say something about changing 4 byte values randomly before he got the table though. weird circumstance nonetheless

But it is actually possible to move the weapon isnt it? When placing a attachment im able to move the gun with the right stick

I might look into making a Save Editor at some point for it. I have several for other games I've made.

Looks like the save data is encrypted or compressed. Not sure if I have the free time to look into solving that issue. If I do, I'll let yas know.

Actually you can move the weapon in the customization window. you can move the main gun left right up and down to give more space for weapon parts. it's done by using the right analog stcik (i use a Ps4 controller. i have no idea on how to do it with mouse and keyboard)
