Controller Support?

Basically, the game does not pick up my 360 controller. It only detects mouse and keyboard inputs.
I've tried multiple things listed here already, and the issue still persists.

Hmmm my works just fine detects buttons and all. all drivers update and you but controller befor you started game? somtimes if i but controller after game start in wont detect it?

switch pro controller user here, mine doesn't work too. The game still detect the controller present but can't detect any imput from it.

well there is other topic about this too and som say using big picture mode helped and remember to check steam big picture control stuff.

I'm using XOne wireless controller. When I 1st started the game, the controller was off, and turning it on would do nothing. When I closed the game and lauched again with the controller on, worked perfectly.

well i did say last post befor that i always plug my controller/usb befor start game becous they might not detect it after the game alredy running.

Switch Pro controller user. Controller works for about 15 seconds into game, then quits. If I bring up the overlay, works for another few seconds. Steam is still getting the inputs; overlay is controller controllable and if I alt-tab into big picture still works there, even while game is running.

Game is doing something funky to the overlay/Steam controller support. Not run into this problem before.

Worked fine on Xbox One controller via Steam Link for me.

That could be important. Steam Link uses Big Picture, rather than the standard Steam overlay. I wonder if that's what's making the difference for some people.

I'm using a DS4 via DS4windows (I need some of its features that steams api doesnt have) and the pad works just fine as if it were a Xbox controller.

I had problems with the Switch pro controller in other games, when using the rumble emulation. Turn it off and see if that helps
