Not recognizing my XBOX One controller.

This is the only game I own that I cannot get my XBOX One controller to work for. It simply doesn't detect it. I've checked that my drivers are updated and verified that it's still working for Valkyria Chronicles. Anyone else having similar issues?

I had to restart the game for it to recognize my xbone controller, but now it works flawlessly.

Have you tried entering Steams "Big Picture" mode? I've noticed that this game doesn't sense the Xbox One controller unless you're in Big Picture mode. I dont't know why, but that's how I got my controller to work. Try it out, jeans.
