How good is the story?

I can't really remember what the story was about, but I am pretty sure it was enjoyable

Only 3 characters and the most important part about the plot is the main character's past I'd say, how they became a team, and how they face again some things of their past. And how somehow everything links to some major plot of course lol

Well, these 3 are not the only characters in the game obviously, there are lots of side characters, but only these 3 are playble.

For the story itself, it is definitely very interesting, but things are often kept rather vague and confusing. There are about 2 hours of cutscenes spread over the roughly 70 hours you need to finish the game. These story only really starts to make sense when you have seen everything.

The story is pretty interesting, but what really carries the game from moment to moment is the characters and their motivations and interactions (their resonance, if you will) really. There are fun and entertaining moments as well as powerful, emotional ones and the actors all do a fantastic job throughout.
Don't expect to have all the answers by the end though, it's just not that kind of story.
