Unfortunately it will not solve the "level 26 problem"! You can only use the levels up to 25, that's a limitation of the game. You should actually not even be able to buy level 26, so this is another one of the numerous bugs the game still has...
The Parking Organiser is still a nifty tool!
By default the game creates 168 (14 levels - levels 0 to 13) of empty parking spaces.
These are files named: #ParkingLvl1CarLoader0.dat to #ParkingLvl1CarLoader167.dat in your profile folder.
As you buy more levels, it presumably creates more sequentially named files. Up to 25 levels apparently. By my reckoning that'll be 300 cars, or files: #ParkingLvl1CarLoader0.dat through to #ParkingLvl1CarLoader299.dat
If you create additional 'fake' levels in windows explorer (files named #ParkingLvl1CarLoader300.dat through to say #ParkingLvl1CarLoader999.dat) by copying an empty parking space .dat file (1KB) over and over renaming as you go, you would have 1000 cars accessible via the Parking Organiser in 83 levels. I have actually tried this and it does work.
You could then move cars from levels 0-25 to these 'other' levels as you please via the Parking Organiser. This will free up spaces as needed in the standard 25 levels.
Only the first 25 levels will show up in game, and you will only be able to visit those levels/cars as per normal, but if you run the Parking Organiser while the game is running, you can move cars to and from these 25 levels as you please. So in affect, you could have unlimited cars.
Strictly speaking, you really only need one parking level...
Use the Parking Organiser while the game is running to swap cars in and out of that one and only level on the fly.
Whenever you move a car to or from parking, the game auto saves. The Parking Organiser detects this autosave and updates accordingly. Sometimes, it doesn't detect an incoming car - not sure why - but to be sure just reload your profile from the drop down on top and it'll do a full refresh. When you move a car in the Parking Organiser, it is reflected in the game.
DO NOT use the organiser when IN parking! ONLY use it when you are in the garage or when the game's not running.
Edit: MAKE REGULAR BACKUPS OF YOUR PROFILE! Steam cloud sync can do funny things sometimes, especially with the parking.
I STRONGLY discourage using Steam Cloud with this game. It WILL (most likely) corrupt your save files at some point. Plus, it can cause some whacky things to happen in-game when the game is autosaving.
And, you probably won't. Word is, they're done working with this version of the game. In fact, they turned over any further DLC of the game to Pertard Games....so, they could finish some that had already been in the works. Not sure if there will be anymore in that regards either. The game is long finished and they're currently focused on the new 2021 version.
I agree. They have fixed bugs after getting reports in the past. Most all of them had been squashed. There's a few that are ongoing and not sure why they've never managed to fix them. Could be they just couldn't find what was causing it or that whatever was causing it is in the core code of the game--which would require a major code re-write.....something they're not going to do obviously....just move on to the next version.
You should start your own thread and clearly state your question / problem with a brief summed up statement as your topic title. This will help get you the best responses for your issues.
