any way to get around the screws and songs achievement ?
im not spending eternity doing 500k screws and listening for year to the songs is there any way to cheat these achievements?

The songs is easy....leave your radio on but, turn down music volume....problem solved--you don't have to listen to it. AS for screws.....yeah...that achievement is kinda bogus....there's many of us who have 100's of hours into this game and still not getting that one cuz, that be a boatload of screws to work. There are some cheat mods out there...just not sure what all they maybe able to 'cheat.' I don't use them.

LOL. This is a timely thread! I've just put in 847.6 hrs into this game - and FINALLY got the music connoisseur achievement! :) Happy days...

1,450 hours, and only ~180k bolts unmounted. It's a doozie, fo sho! Get a Porsche Carrera GT, unscrew the ex man bolts. Or a Viper, and do the same with the intake manifold. Over and over. Do that for about 60 hours, maybe? Haaaa. It's "nuts."

The discarded orders achievement is still glitched for me. So I won't be able to 100% this game, even if I could take the time to get all the others.

Hi there, Do you use a controller. There is a bug that doesn't count your discarded orders if you are using one, If you select mouse and keyboard and then discard orders they add up. Well it used to anyway, I haven't tried it for a while.

You rock. That was it. And here I just got done saying on another thread that I've never had controller problems. Guess I had, and didn't even know it. Thanks a bunch. Time to enter insane mode and try to 100% this beast!

As long as I have a distraction (like a podcast) while I'm grinding away the bolts, and the parts examined achievements, I should be okay. I just unscrew bolts on a Carrera GT ex man over and over, and for parts examined, just spam the same part over and over. And same with discarded orders achievement. Might take a few days of tedium, but I think those will be doable.

It's the three freaking achievements that you get from fixing cars that are gonna take months, probably, even just doing the quick exhaust and transmission jobs. Those are the three I'm dreading. I don't think there are any shortcuts around those.

I've only done 280 jobs. I need 1,220 more... Yoinks.

I'll let you all know when I get the bolts, discarded orders, and parts examined achievements, though! Might take a week or two altogether. Much love, and cheers. ;)

I still need the minute lap achievement, too, but I'm saving it for last as a reward for this other crap I gotta do, haha.
