Newmar was a knockout... the second Burton one wasn’t so bad. Never bothered seeing the cat woman movie. Eartha Kitt got on my last damn nerve... what she called a purr was nails on the chalkboard of my soul... (shudder). Don’t know why, she rubbed me the wrong damn way...
A guy did manage to mod the 89’ Batmobile from the first Burton movie. It actually looks great, but runs on a V8...
That's what I was hoping for in this game, and maybe a later version will have something like that, without having to resort to importing files and applying Photoshop wizardry to make it work.
Next up in the dock: what I'm calling Dark Orange Rage, which is the Mustang look-alike with very dark orange chrome on the frame and rims. I'm not in love with it yet, so it may just be a test-and-sell experiment. Now that I'm more familiar with colorizing individual parts, not just the entire car, I will probably go insane with things for awhile.
Oh, and if there is a future version, I would absolutely adore being able to find, refurbish and actually drive some seriously-vintage models, especially European ones. I was watching an old episode of the Top Gear revival series that started back up in 2002, and James May was driving an old Triumph convertible that was amazing. Probably too expensive to buy the rights to the actual specs, but maybe they'll come up with a similar knock-off version. Call it the Excelsior!, with the exclamation point included.
Did I mention that I seriously love cars? It's a sickness, aye, but better than the one I just had to take Nyquil for 48 hours to get rid of. God, I hate that ♥♥♥♥.
Bone$, very nice. 57'... the eternal classic... the only car completely at home with 50s mobsters, 60s buisnessmen, 70s cholos, 80s townies and 90s street rodders... the list goes on.
I grew up in east Los Angeles and saw a lot of these... lowered, with silver leaf... Aztec murals... now I live in Columbus Ohio... no one drives classics here. Rust is rampant between the road salt and weather... out west, on any given residential street, they just sit there... in various conditions...i took it for granted...
And how do I upload them?
All my cars are stock though. I'm wary of modding my file.
Head down to Gatlinburg, TN sometime for the annual rally, or whatever it's called. After Covid is under control of course. You'll be in heaven.
Oh, for your photos, this threw me in the beginning too, but it's tied to Steam... so you have to make sure your steam overlay is turned on. Then, when you snap a photo, it saves directly to your steam account. You have to hit share on the shots you like, then you hit share from the shared screenshots and copy/paste the link directly into the forum here... they don't make it confusing or nuthin... :sarcasm emoji:
Hahah, thanks bud. I'll give it a shot and see if I can post a few builds from a while back.
I don't see 'em too often down here anymore either.
Heh, no it's not The Virus. It's the same cold I get almost every summer, since the dark gods seem to enjoy making me suffer when the weather is at its most awesome. Dead of winter, and I'm healthy as a horse. 81 degrees and nearly no humidity, lovely breeze *hack* *cough* *sneeze* *various other disgusting noises*
I have to go buy a new thumbdrive, since the ones I've dug out of the heap are beyond saving. Stuck one in an older computer, just in case, and it wouldn't even recognize it. "The device you are attempting to access is not a valid data storage unit." Five year old computer, and it is giving me attitude. Anyway, it's on my list of necessary things when I go shopping this week.
Again, classic/vintage cars are always supreme to mess around with, both in this game and in real life. Kudos to those who have the talent to accomplish such things.

The deep purple (plumb?) on the Roadrunner is very nice. They make decent music too. :D
I’ll be waiting for you to go shopping, Dark. Reading the descriptions of your creations is akin to reading Penthouse forum... some things just need a visual
