CMS 2018 and Playing with the On-Screen Keyboard
Hey I got the game because looks like something that I could do fairly well with just mouse and the Windows onscreen keyboard. I am disabled and can't use a keyboard; I literally cannot play a game without the On-screen Keyboard provided by Windows' accessibility options if it has keyboard controls.

This is currently a game that I can't play because I can't use the on-screen keyboard. Can't even click or select the on screen keyboard. Can't select the games window when in windowed mode. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions to this? Another more compatible on-screen keyboard? (Using physical keyboard not an option)

I'm sorry to hear this and sad to say that I dont have an answer for you as I've never had to use an on-screen keyboard for anything. I'm guesing that's the reason nobody has replied. We have really great moderators and a some what good community. Leading to most questions being answered pretty quickly. I would hate to see that nobody has an answer for you, but that might be the case here. I hope you the best of luck in finding a solution.

Doesn't work because mouse in game is assigned to it.

Have you tried using the Quadstick? I broke my neck in a car accident 13 years ago and am paralyzed from the neck down. The adaptive controller that I use can be configured to enable you to play just about any game. Here is a link for website. The Quadstick community on the forums are very heipful and can answer any questions about the product.

I had heard of those but had no idea where to start looking thanks for the link!

Also the mouse in game being assigned to it or such happens in a lot of games and I can still use the onscreen keyboard; It just deselects the game window and selects the keyboard... Incidentally that's why I have to do windowed cause otherwise onscreen keyboard minimizes game when trying to use.

No problem. The Quadstick is an amazing device. I used to play games in a very similar fashion (using a headmouse in combination with the onscreen keyboard} until I discovered the Quadstick and it made both gaming and doing schoolwork much faster and easier (I'm trying to go back to school and get into computer programming). The nice thing about the Quadstick is that you can make separate profiles for each game that tells it what you want each sip and puff feature to do. That includes mouse controls, keyboard, Xbox and Playstation commands. I've not found a game I'm unable to play using it.

As for typing have tried using voice recognition software like Dragon Naturally Speaking.

The problem with Dragon Naturally is that I have difficulty talking in general, need a breath for everyone 2 words sometimes one, some words just don't even come out. Sometimes only reason I am understood is i can still get out some consonants and other syllables combined with people helping me able to read lips to some extent.

Honestly i don't think that typing would be all that much issue if I could still move the mouse cause the onscreen keyboard got a pretty good text prediction built in.
