I play a lot of FPS games so probably why I'm so annoyed by this, I've work on my aim so having to get used to this would completely ruin my aim in those FPS games.
I really wish the devs would just take their fingers out their arses and fix it but like you said, it's not going to happen.
Might as well get my refund while I can.
Then you can just drop the dpi while in-game, and bring it back up when done.
(Plus, their buttons are a lot tougher than standard mouse buttons and are rated to last longer)
This should be marked as the correct answer.
no? I have a gaming mouse, i can change my DPI but it's frustrating to have to keep doing that. it's gonna ruin my gameplay experience.
it's not "the correct answer". the correct answer would be the devs sorting it. anyway i don't care, i've got my refund, good game but devs are morons.
If you followed my suggestions on mouse and ones in thread "Too much lag-fps..." you may just need to exit out to main menu then load back in again. The lag / stutter will make it seem like mouse not working for a second each time you move. I had an issue where an update to my system was causing issues for my mouse. Forget how I found it finally and then rectified it but, my mouse has worked great ever since.
I have a wireless Logitech mouse and solar wireless keyboard, it works absolutely fine too.
Must be their USB port setting or mouse driver, or even windows settings??
If that were the case then it should be happening on every game i play. it's poor game design plain and simple.
Not necessarily but, you would probably see SOME issue in some other things. There's no doubt about it, mouse acceleration is an issue and it's affects are different for different system configurations. Sometimes it's just a matter of fine tuning settings in the OpSys or removing a duplicated and / or corrupted driver. I even had an issue where an app left dll's behind after uninstalling which were causing conflicts with my mouse--was very difficult to track down btw.
I still stand by my advice though.... simply change "Game settings" "Controller Acceleration" to NO and increase Controller Sensitivity to compensate.... mine is at 120%
Sorry mate but why have a gaming mouse if it's "frustrating" to change the dpi, and "ruins the gameplay experience"...? Isn't the whole point of such a mouse to tailor it to different games? And is there any real need to insult the devs? I think there's a t missing somewhere.....
But how can it be poor design, if it works fine for the majority of people; saying majority because if it wasn’t then it would be a significant problem therefore a patch would be required.
I do know through decades of building and gaming, that this is a very demanding game if your hardware isn’t performing well or your pushing the boat out in the graphics dept. When I had my GTX 660 Ti, it would struggle a tad in movement. So my bet is there is, If it’s not a driver or setting, an underperforming piece of hardware that is struggling. Remember you can have all your 8-16 core CPUs in the world, but if a game performs better on one fast core, then your stuffed if your CPU isn’t great on one. Just an example Ok. Lower all your settings, I know it’s hard to think like that, but just try it. PC gamers are notorious for bragging, we’ve all done it. But sometimes it’s about facing up to an ageing system or component or your new system just can’t churn out the FPS because of game engine etc. There’s tons games like My Summer Car that, yes it’s EA, that kill systems. This isn’t one of them though. I do have an EVGA GTX 1060 6gb SC and that was a HUGE performance jump
