I generally recommend the "Plymouth" DLC for one simple reason: it contains two new sets of tires (vintage race A & B), that are used by some variants of vanilla-game-cars, that otherwise don't spawn. So with that, you not only get the three Plymouth cars (Hemi 'Cuda and two Roadrunner variants) but also a whole bunch of other cars!
(And the Drag Strip/ Speed Test Track, that's totally unnecessary, but man, is it fun :steamhappy: )

If you're into Exotic Super Sports Cars, you might want the Pagani DLC, since a lot of them use the V12 engines from this DLC.
Other than that, it's next to impossible, to recommend specific DLCs for workshop cars, since the needed DLCs can be all over the place. You should look at the workshop cars, that peek your interest the most and see, what DLCs they need. You can see that on the right side of the car's overview window.

Most of the stuff (actually all of it...), that needs specific DLCs can be swapped out with the editor, but since it's mostly used for a reason, other things might not fit as well or even not at all, so it'll always be a compromise. :cms18wrench:

Just get ALL the DLC....or a good majority of it anyway. When the Platinum package goes on sale, it's a great deal--get a bunch of DLC--and it only charges you for the one's you don't already have so, anything you already bought will get deducted from the total price when you're checking out. Makes it a good deal.
