Mouse acceleration still not fixed? Mod?
I've finally upgraded my machine and can play this game at an acceptable fps. I thought my mouse issues were from sync problems but the mouse still behaves strangely.

Do I have any options besides yeeting my mouse sensitivity to a high setting on the hardware side? This is extremely annoying and sours the experience of a game I've been waiting a long time to play.

I saw some older discussions about this but figured the community might have found some new solutions since launch.

Your mouse setting can be changed in game's settings. Most people don't think of a keyboard and mouse as a 'controller' but, in the game's settings it is. So, in one setting, you have choice of setting which 'controller' you use. Here, you'd choose 'Keyboard and Mouse.' Then you have 'controller acceleration' and 'controller sensitivity' which you can adjust and it will affect mouse behavior. Most people complain it moves too fast when in part assembly / disassembly mode--which disabling 'controller acceleration' usually fixes. But, then the mouse pointer moves too slow in menu's or moving so, you have to increase 'controller sensitivity.' For instance, I increase mine to 140% with acceleration turned off. It's still a bit slow in menu's but, at least it isn't making my head spin when in assemble / disassemble mode.

You could further fine tune the mouse settings in Windows but, then that applies globally to everything else--which is something I don't prefer. If the mouse is just acting real strange, it maybe that Windows updates corrupted the driver and uninstalling / re-installing the mouse driver usually resolves it. There hasn't been any patches for controls in a long time and probably never will be at this point.

Yeah that's more or less what I've been doing. I don't understand why the game doesn't just let you use raw mouse input like every other program.

I agree 100%. It seems so hard to stop the pointer on the parts you want to select! :steamfacepalm:

Just got the game and it still give same mouse issue. I am probably behind times here but how can one easily resolve this. Its disappointing.

See my first post. That's 'about' all there is to do for this game. I mean, you could get into some difficult coding solution maybe but... nothing I would consider 'easily resolving' the issue.
