He used a 4wd Mayen M3 with performance parts and slick tires. He tried it about an hour and a half and finally got under 1 minute.
He has a way higher frustration barrier than me I guess.
I tried to get the achievement with my 520 PS Chieftain TBX, with the Elenti Callope (384 PS), I tried even with my stock Delray Custom, Dodge Charger and Rollett - fails only. Especially the TBX was a horror, totally uncontrollable. The Callope was fun to drive though, but I still failed.
Then I saw a customer job - Reptilia R2 Supercharged. I fixed it and decided to go to the track with it. It was such a nice surprise! I needed only a couple of tries and I easily got it.
I can only recommend this car for this achievement. Its still a bit challenging, but very enjoyable. And the car is powerful but steerable.
Some rules for the better handling of the car : don't go too low on the tires possibles, don't use oversized tires on low HP cars, there is clutch inertia and torque is important to not see your car goin' crazy on every corner, if you have a gamepad, remember to go progressive with the brakes and the gas because of the physics, and use a tire charts to find suitable "real world" race tires, don't go under 50 for profil as your car is not a formula one (tires under 50 are not good for the suspension) take LARGE tires and balanced for front and rear.
Trust me, with the tuning DLC you can go to 52secs, maybe even less with the M3 4x4.
Good luck.
