Auctions: worth the time and money???
I thought that the auction feature was going to be an asset. What a fool I was. It's rigged to buggery.

You have a car you bid on and the AI bids you to pretty much the car value or above.

If you let an auction run on a vehicle you want it will generally stop at around 66% of the vehicle value. If you bid on it it pushes you to the price or higher.

You bid on an auction and it ends up you and the AI (and it's various bidders). It will allow the AI to win at anything over around 66% but it will push you up to over the 100% if you're bidding.

And whats this $500 bid crap? If you have a high value car (say a $700k DLC vehicle) it may start the bidding at $350k and you then have 700 bids before the value is reached (if you're bidding on it that is).

There is no way to push the value quickly up to where you need to get it to win the auction, no direct value input or higher bid value option.

Auctions are a waste of time and as frustrating as♥♥♥♥♥♥

Please fix them.

In junkyards and barns you can find only older cars and you can only properly repair them at lvl 30, however in auctions you can find more or less any car including newer cars like the castor earthquake, the moderns suvs and the salem spectre sr, to name a few.

The auctions are pretty predictable at the moment tbh. Wish they were a bit more unpredictable. You either get car bought at the exact price, a bit over or a bit under the cars worth (yes I've bought an car 3 grand cheaper than it's value at an auction once).

I've got some cars at a bit under the value, but usually it gets slightly over. I fully agree with the $500 limit bit though. I have a couple of mod cars that value at 3-4 million, usually start around 500k and I think I'd die of old age before I got the chance to end that auction.

I do like the Auction house, but a bit more randomness would be nice.

I use Auctions only to get Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee.

Correct .
I am going to change its config file so it will spawn in junkyard too. I want a parking level full of 12 Jeep Wrangler :)

I tried the auction for a daytona corbra the stating price was 840.000 or 84.000 and the value was 2.25mil and each bid only went up by 5.000 so it took about 40 minutes of clicking the mouse even 5 seconds that is not fun clicking a mouse for 40to 50 minute just to get a car you should be able to type in a number and go from that point I think for high cost car the auction is a waste of time it is better to go to the junkyard and rebuild them ......
