Things to check for.
1. Enough Power Supply Wattage for your Rig. I have had Defective PSUs that will cause Randm Restarts.
2. Overheating issues will for sure cause restarts.
3. Viruses also cause a major issue of Restarts. Scan with an updated Malwarebytes or other good Root Kit finder.
Kind Regards.

Wiped out hard drive. Accidently re-installed High SIerra instead of Mojave. Now everything works great.
There are all kinds of Steam problems with Mojave being reported in sporadic groups accross multiple forums.
Come on Steam, it's on you....get your act together.
The developers for Car mechanic is new to me. And going through the discussions, I can see there has been a number of small issues that are near impossible to fix. I want to like this game, I have not given it a review, I've already sent their support a ticket 2 days ago. I just can't give this a thumbs up if it's going to break my pc which I built from ground up. I do a bench test every now and again between games to see if I have any permanent damage, but so far it seems okay. That makes me wonder even more though to the fact, CMS runs really well on it's bench & yet, it decides to screw me at random points. It's never at a load point, using the wheel or moving parts. Just at the moment of walking from A to B, it sometimes crashes & crashes hard.
Ryzen 5 2600X No OC
CPU Enermax Water cooling twin fan radiator
Rog Strix X-F gaming. Somewhat rare considering, but very reliable.
MSI Radeon RX570 8GB clocked at 3020. Memory at 1820
Vengeance 8gb ram stick, Viper 8gb ram stick with 15Lat
Additional fans X3 140mm
1 Light strip
PSU Corsair 850W Gold
I can't imagine power is the issue when using any calculator would estimate peaks of 340W. As for heat, my GPU has never reached past 67 C. Radeon has been known to run good for 5 yrs+ even at 80 degrees.
My tv doesn't go behond 60fps so it should be self explanatory to settle at this point. I also plan to upgrade to an RX 590. I believe very strongly there's nothing in my system that is so flawed it can't function as normal. It has proven to be very capable and quite compatible since it's already managed overcoming so many problems others have had with any AMD combination.
Tell me your complete PC Or Laptop Specs, I will try and help you.
I need to know exactly what Model Parts and other stuff.
Kind Regards.

I use a free version of Easy Driver to help get everything. I found it very risky for any automated program, but this one is difficult, but very legit. It even found updates to windows security after using a scan from it's own OS. I also have a paid version of Advanced System Optimizer: I hear it's not a favorite among gamers, but seeing I'm all SSD with a multi thread of 18000+ I needn't worry.
Now to be fair, I only recently discovered a dilema a few hrs ago. Upon booting the game, no overrides by Radeon are activated, unless I hotkey the overlay or just go to settings. If I wait for the menu, I can see 2600fps & of course hitting overlay then does not exactly crash, but close the window. I ran it for a long session since then & it seems okay so far. I've always had to do a full restart (not shutdown) to get the Radeon profile active, hence you hear the fan kick in. It's likely they may be at fault, but still this is the first game to be so stubborn.
Also, thanks for the help & taking the time, I'll keep you posted should anything unexpected happen.
Do not ever use any thing that is Free without research it first.
Now I tend to think that you are overloaded with Adware and possibly Viruses from that Tool.
I know these thing, because I have been there and done that, had to learn the hard way.
Get the Free MalwareBytes and do a full scan and you will see that Adware is bad for your PC.
Get back to me after you are sure that your PC i clean.

An optimizer would need access to system files for it to do anything. I've also had admistrative issues from the get go & systweak was able to make things very easy for me. To put bluntly I've had every possible thing for a pc to go wrong in building it, did go wrong. I've learnt a great deal & I'm also fully aware of how likely it is to get a bad download, especially off of optimizers & driver updates. Neither of these programs were easy to find. I will hang on to Malwarebytes for it's trial still, just for cross reference and comparisons. So far, I would consider that it found nothing new or directly harmful
