Where is the fuel pump? I've practically torn the engine down looking for it. The new one looks like an external pump.

It's not in the engine, but in the fuel tank. Raise the car in the lifter to the top, click on the rear suspension, then on the fuel tank, then turn it around until you see it, it's more or less in the middle of the tank, on the top.

I was pretty sure there is an engine with the fuel pump on side of engine block (which is how they did it in the old day's.)

Yeah I think it is a 6-cyl. That's how it was done back then, I'm surprised that with all of the classic cars in the game that the fuel tank pump is in every vehicle. They didn't have those back then.

the 6 cyl with the old school pump on the block also has a pump in the tank. Don't forget to install it too.
