Im having a bit of trouble

So I'm new to this game, level seven and got an order to fix the engine block (it was hell) finally finished everything but now I can't add the belt tensioner to finish my build off and add belt b... I think I'm going mad - I took apart the engine again and keep coming up empty handed. Thought I had a missing piece on the block but it doesn't show that I add anything there.

Won't let me even add the belt. Add belt a and put the cover on and add the crank and idler and then it just won't let me add. I assumed it had to do with the engine because it looked like I missed a piece - just went back and rebuilt it and nada.. I feel like I am losing my mind.

What engine are you rebuilding?

13 DOHC was repairing engine block (13) - fixed it all up and now this stupid belt is giving me migraines

Did you double check to make sure you have right belt? And the belt and the tensioner are the only two parts you have left to install?

Checked that originally even bought a timing belt even though that wasn't it and have the serpentine a & b.. right belts. I'd post a screenshot but IDK how in a thread if you even can.. I just have a feeling it's missing something right above the oil filter at this point - or at least that's my best bet.

Make sure you have right belt, some use A and B variants of same belt. It`s i3 btw not 13.

Got the alternator and water pump installed? I'm just going off memory at the moment. I can't remember exactly where the pump is on that engine.

This one uses both A and B belts (I3).

Water pump and alternator are on, alt is directly under the pump.. Both seem right and the tensioner is supposed to go to the left of it but it doesn't give me an option to add it.

Could be missing water pump pulley.

You have to add the belt first, and then the option to add the tensioner will appear.

yes but the option to add the belt wont come up that's why I thought something was wrong.

My bad, I just reread and saw it won't even let you add the belt.
