It's quite simple to find the original tire sizes for a vehicle, modded or not. You need to traverse through the files of your Steam directory to find the Workshop folder for CMS2018 which is ID 645630
Example:
Then you want to find your car, in the workshop mod folder, you can find this by going to the
modded cars workshop page, right clicking the page and copying the URL, paste the url on a notepad and get the mod's ID, use this to find your modded cars folder, open it and open the config.txt file.
If this isn't a privately uploaded mod on Steam Workshop, then you would most likely have added it through StreamingAssets.
Example:
Find your car folder, open it and open config.txt
This file contains the default sizes for the tires including rim type, rim width/depth, wheel type and wheel width.
Example:
Removed Rim Sebring (16") ETO from one of my junkers, fitted as standard with Standard Tyre 185/80R16 which was replaced with Vintage Tyre 215/55R16, and all went well.
So it would appear that all you need to do is ensure the tyre size matches that of the rim - in this example 16 - and the rest is down to your personal preference...
