Can't enter the dyno room

So, after a long break I decided to come back and continue my career. I pulled out a rusty reptilia R2 I had in the corner, restored it to 100% and decided to try the dyno. The car went to the dyno room, I could see it through the door but when I clicked on the door nothing happened.

Ok, I thought maybe my save was too old, so I started a new career. Luckily there was already a 100% ready car in the garage (except the oil), I moved it to the dyno room and the same thing happened: the car's inside and she's lonely, I'm outside and frustrated and I can't enter. I verified the files, I double checked that I had the tuning dlc installed both in steam and in the game's DLC menu. What am I missing?

Thats bad. I assume you are at least level 30, right? You need both tuning dlc and level 30 in order to have access to it. Nevertheless, in the tutorial you should still be able to enter the dyno.

Yes, I'm level 40. That's even worse: I took another car from the parking and moved it to the paint shop. And I can't enter the paint shop either, same story: car's inside, I can see it through the door but can't enter.

Sent, both my old save and the fresh tutorial save. Both have the cars inside the dyno and paint shops.

I've completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it on a different hard drive, started a new sandbox, leveled till I got the paint shop and dyno, bought a new car from the dealer, moved it to the paint shop and still couldn't enter it. Is there anything elese I could try to fix this?

After a couple of weeks of mail exchanges with the developer the issue is resolved, or rather it never existed. Quoting: "You must click mouse button, not hold". I feel stupid .

On a side note, it's really nice to see a developer that provides this kind of support after the game release.

Even better, you explained it to 'others'. Because i re-read you initial post which said;

Which is what threw me, i was even going to suggest plugging in a controller -seeing as your 'clicking on the door' didn't work
The main thing is you sorted it out and the dev's 'role played it out with you'.
