Missing Starter motor mounting
I got a Secco 550LX and built the V6 DOHC CHG engine. However, it came up as missing the starter motor. I went back and dismantled the entire engine and Started again.

At no time could I see ; where the was a "ghost image" off the Starter motor , no mention of needing one or leads to attach to the ignition plugs.

Is this missing entirely? ( do not show up as missing when I did the examination scan)

If you mean simply a "starter," it is on the transmission not the engine. The starter connects to the transmission case. When you start the engine the starter shaft, which has a small gear attached extends out to engage the flywheel, which is a huge gear located on the back outside of the engine block and is attached on to the crankshaft of an engine.

Sometimes you can access it from the ground (engine bay) and sometimes you have to raise the car with the lift.

There's a couple cars that have gearbox's where the starter mounts on the driver's side out in front of the gearbox instead of coming off the gearbox on the passenger side. Don't remember which cars they are for sure. The starters mount to the gearbox though and you sometimes miss seeing the ghost outline if exhaust has already been installed or you don't spin the camera around to see both sides of engine / gearbox.

Make sure you are looking in "electronics" not car parts

I believe you might be referring to CMS2021. CMS2018 does not have a separate parts store called 'electronics' and the starters are in the 'Engine' section of the regular parts store.

@Oscar... There's no logical reason the parts catalog should not be showing 'Starter' and 'Starter V8' for sale. If this is true, right click the game in steam library, choose properties, local files, and do the 'verify files' option.
