Yush, i like to ask how you can repair cars or customers cars if you don't have money to buy parts?

Are there anyway to earning money if you don't have any more money to buy parts or have any old parts to sell, expect that then you have to complete customers repairs?

How did you lose all of your money, I thought that was almost impossible?

I know there is an achievement for it, but I got it by buying cars and parts until I was broke then selling everything to get back to business. I don't think I ever lost money on any car.

If you have all of your money wrapped up in cars stored in parking, you'll probably have to sell them, or start a new game, or use a cheat to add more money.

-Yes you can lost all your money but, i just ask for this for other reason. Not because i have this situation for now in my main profile but, because im tested this so, i just wondering after this how you can get or earning money when you don't have that.

After buying parts & if you sell them after buying, you get allways less money then that your buy price was & continue that way, you're lost all your money & you can't buy anymore noting, not even cheapest part in web store. Then you don't have anyting to left to sell & no idea where you can get money in otherway then repairing cars.

You will have parts that you can sell from your inventory that will allow you to get parts required for small repair jobs. Do a few jobs to earn more money and always keep enough cash funds to be able to complete customer repair jobs.

Start a new profile and test out your theory.

-I just said when you don't have even any parts in your invetory to sell to get some earning if you're spended all of your money to buy parts that you don't need it. I was just tested this then this is possible when you don't play well, not because i play that way. This is acutally or basicly bankcrypt that make your company down if you can't continue your business any more.

Game allow that but, there is none other options to give change to continue your business with out restart the game or make new game profile. Not even free scarpyard or somekind of places where you can pick some free items/parts, that you can sell to earn some extra money. x3

1) Take customer job.
2) Strip car completely.
3) Sell all parts as is.
4) Take another customer job and complete it using the proceeds from the parts sale in 3)
5) Keep doing more customer jobs until you have a nice cash buffer.
6) Buy the parts you need to complete the original customer job and carry on playing.

Edit: but I do fail to see the point of this as you'd have to be creative and deliberate to end up with no cash AND nothing at all to sell...

If you have spent all of your money, then where is your profit from the work that you have done?

In this game you cannot take your money and spend it outside of the game, so you have to have some parts or money or both.

Start a new profile and try to have no parts and no money - it isn't possible.

I was just tested in test profile this & this is possible & you can spend all money to parts & sell them until you don't have noting left or that much ammout money left then you can't buy any cheapest part.

You make all of time lost profit when you sell parts, that you're buy it. When you're not repair anyting. Then you don't have any money left or that much that have enought money for complete any customer jobs. Not even change oil with out go negative profit or 0 value, expect if oil change is only customer job that you need to do in customer car because, you can get paid for this job.

There are other ways to go about being near-broke, eg: sell everything except a mirror, then keep painting that mirror over and over until your out of cash... then you have nothing but a mirror left. But what are we trying to do here, simulate a drug problem or something?? Anyway, the method in my post above should get you going again.

-Testing to play when you don't play well or play others way that you should or play badly. Looking possiblitys by playing game anyway other around that rules is, just for fun. Game allow that for some limit areas or point but, game not give change to continue to play the game when you're broken.

Then why do it like this. If you start the game your goal is too make money by working on repairing customer cars. How do YOU expect to repair cars if the first thing you do is buy and then sell parts until you have no money left.

By broken the game rules, simulate thinks & situations where it doesn't make sense. By looking at what is possible and what is not in this game but, then notice thinks then game not have any options or change to earning money when you are fully broken. There is nothing special about it except that it is not possible to earning money when you're lost already everyting.

I got here cause I just got the game, started the tutorial... and run out of money.
What I did was:
Strip the Bolt Cape
Try to repair all the parts
Sell anything that's in bad condition
Weld the chasis
Reassamble the engine, buying part for part
Run out of money with the cover, cam shaft and timing stuff installed

So are you supposted to skip steps during the tutorial? Do you not have a good enough starting capital to do the job properly?

I do hate that by the time you are able to fully restore cars you have already made a fortune so the financial challenge is gone. I just sink all that money into extra parking garage levels I don't need to get rid of it - then play like I'm just starting out a business with all the competency required but only a bit of cash to get me going. So I do appreciate the intent to find different ways of playing... your scenario is just a little extreme.

In a larger context it still ends up being a moot point as the money side of this game is un-balanced and there is no real lasting financial challenge.

I get that. Once I played as a garage in Cuba, where only really old vehicles are available and no new parts. Repair what you can and scrounge for any missing parts at the junkyard. Buy multiple wrecks and cannibalize them for parts... Try and at least get a few cars running and on the road - quite a challenge!
