Welding...
I finally made level 30 went over and welded my first car and quit playing the game after that, was last weekend I haven't played since. The trailer made it look like welding was going to be so much more interactive and fun, not just a click and done for cash price. The tire and spring machine are much more fun then the welding is should of put those at level 30 for something exciting to get. Cause at least you get more action out of those.

yeah really dissapointed with the lack of simulating things to do in this game, the more things to do the better in my opinion.

just imagine an interaction to
1. sand blast the paint off
2. remove the rust
3. weld new metal
4. smoothing the metal
5. painting car

I'm sure if we were request it they will in time be able to make the game in more detail they've already agreed that they're going to put hoses liquids and more wiring into the engines, guys we need to give it time there's a lot of work there trying to work on

I agree. I was hoping you would have to hold the mouse down on the rusty parts or something like that.

That would be nice, however seeing that the UI they gave us is a generic console thingy I think they would need to develop a whole new PC UI to even be in a position to include custom actions like that. (And in the process do away with the much hated console UI!). We wish! - but I seriously doubt that will happen.

I'm willing to give them all the time they need, I just think by the video they showed for the game it looked like welding was a lot more involved. I didn't expect it to be a one click and done fix. My only point was the video was a bit misleading on that part. The previous version while being great was a major let down in the garage department I became so bored so fast because they just made is all about just doing car after car no business management upgrading. I really wanted some major garage upgrading in this one. I have to admit they started off great with the tire machines and the spring fixer and Engine mounts. But the stuff we worked hard for to open the reward at level 30 the welding and painted was a complete let down.

Same with paint shop. I wanted to spray custom paint jobs. Free style.

The thing about the video is some of the stuff (like the welding and painting) is not actual game play. Now stuff like the performance parts were in the game play portion of the video and yet they claim it wasn't supposed to be in game. I can fully understand the cinematic stuff (pulling the car up on the trailer, paint and body work) because we are not buying a high dollar game but they should at least deliver what was shown in the actual game play. If this was a AAA title and was costing $50-60 then yes I want that stuff from the cinematic too but let's be realistic here. You don't get a big production game for $25.
